Art | FOUNDATIONS OF ART 2

What does it mean to "think Biblically" in the subject of art?

From where do the ideas of composition come?

How can we reason Biblically about composition?

Learn how to apply Biblical thinking and Biblical reasoning skills in the first portion of each lesson. Then, take your time going through the practice sessions that help equip you for the final painting project. As you complete each of your final projects, upload photos of them into the group's conversations.

A. No, it is not. None of Heather Hall’s lesson content, notebook pages, or research resources are AI generated. Her Biblical worldview is that we’re created as image bearers of God, designed to create by using our minds, and we are to do all of our creative work as unto the Lord. Art needs the human touch in order to communicate with other humans. AI cannot offer that.

A. Bundle 2 of the Foundations of Art course is set apart from other art courses in these ways:

  • Students learn the Biblical premise for each element of art.
  • They learn the context of art within God’s creation.
  • Students are given questions to reason through the Biblical framework of art.

A. This course is for Christian families who desire to have Biblical Classical art lessons that incorporate:

  • A solid Biblical worldview
  • A Providential worldview
  • Keeping Christ as the Focal Point
  • Reason and Relate questions to help students with how to think and reason Biblically
  • The Distinctives of a Biblical Classical education (see our Distinctives here)

A. Yes, there is a licensing fee for homeschool groups and private schools. Learn more about licensing fees here.
