Raquel Werk lives with her husband in Maui, Hawaii.
She is currently working full-time in the online course creation business with her company called The Principled Teacher.
She has worked over 20 years in education homeschooling her two children, leading teachers in a Principle Approach® school in Honolulu, coordinating homeschool co-ops and support groups, giving seminars at homeschool and teachers conferences, and teaching elementary and middle school students in public schools.
She was trained in the Principle Approach® philosophy under James Kilkenny at Teachers for the Nations with Youth with a Mission in Tyler, Texas.
She also received a masters degree in curriculum design at Regent University learning from Dr. Elizabeth Youmans, a founding teacher of the Principle Approach®.
Her passion for the word of God and love of teaching continues to be the foundation of everything she does.
The Bible verse that inspires her work is Colossians 2:8, “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the traditions of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”
